I designed these flashcards to help students master the basics of Japanese through visual and motor cues.

Instead of just showing the characters, I used distinct colour themes to group sounds together, making pronunciation patterns much easier to memorise at a glance.

To support the physical side of learning, I included stroke-by-stroke guides and paired them with familiar objects to build practical vocabulary.

It is all about creating a functional tool that feels warm, inviting, and easy to use.
